There are many lakes in Mölndal! Close to the city, yet in secluded, rural landscape, you can discover the lakes from the sandy beaches. Here you find a list of all our lakes!

Lake Rådasjön
Close to Gunnebo House and Gardens. Drive towards Gunnebo. Turn left after the first Gunnebo parking. The sandy beach at Rådasjön is accessible for wheelchairs. 
Next to the lake there is a large car park which is accessed through the street John Halls väg.
You find toilets (during summer) and dustbins.
Dogs are not allowed.
Fishing is permitted - please note the Yellow Card terms.

Lake Stensjön
Stensjön offers a small sandy beach by John Halls väg, between Rådavägen and Gunnebo House and Gardens. Easily accessible by bus (the Kristinedal stop). 
The swimming area is very family friendly, and has a very shallow. In the area there are toilets and bins. 
At the boardwalk on the lake's western side, there is another small beach. Adjacent to the beach there is a small playground. Parking is available at Grevedämmet.
Dogs are not allowed.
Fishing is permitted - please note the Yellow Card terms.

Lake Sisjön
Sisjöns is situated in the forests of Sandsjöbacka nature reserve and is very popular among families. There are docks with ladders, sandy beaches and rocks. There are jogging trails around the lake. Beautiful trails for walking in the nature reserve.
Accessed from street Lunnagårdsgatan, follow the signposts.
You find toilets (during summer) and dustbins.
Dogs are not allowed.
Fishing is permitted - please note the Yellow Card terms.

Lake Horsikan
Family friendly grass beaches. There are connection to the Bohusleden hiking trail.
Horsikan is accessed from street Horsikagatan. Park the car next to the football field, then walk 300 meters on a hillside.
Dogs are not allowed.
Fishing is not allowed.

Lake Södra Barnsjön
The family friendly swimming area is located along the Barnsjövägen, in Lindome. 
There is a diving tower. Adjacent to the bathing area is a sports field.
Dogs are not allowed.
Fishing is allowed - fishing license is not needed.

Lake Södra Långvattnet
A small beach with cliffs at Kikåsleden hiking trail, which you reach from street Skyttegatan in Mölndal. The swimming area has no piers or toilets.
A small parking lot is adjacent to the site. 

Lake Tulebosjön
Small family friendly beach located on the lake's western side. Toilets are available during summer.
Parking at Kållered ice rink.

Lake Färåstjärn (also named lake Bergsjön)
This lake is situated on top of a hill in the forests above Torrekulla in Kållered. Please note the long and steep paths to reach the lake.
The bath has docks, but lack toilets. 

Lake Västra Ingsjön
Västra Ingsjön is beautifully situated on a headland between Inseros and Eskilsby in Hällesåker. Parking lots directly adjacent to the bath. The bath has docks and large grass lawns.
Access to toilets and bins.
