Brygghuset, Fiskebäckskil

brygghuset will continue with Joel's popular jetty this year. This year it will be weatherproofed, and Joel's Bridge will remain open from mid-June to mid-August from 10:00 - 22:00 noon.

Wednesdays is moule-frites day with troubadour starting at 18:00.

At midsummer the lunch on Midsummer's Day is THE big event here. 

Andreas Sundberg Kleen, restaurant manager, sommelier and himself a Skaftöislander, says that Brygghuset will continue to focus on fish and seafood and that they will work closely with the local fisherman Björn, who also has his boat lying outside Brygghuset. Since it will also make use of the recipes from the cookbook "Äta vid havet: mat, människor och råvaror", that is written by restaurateur Reine Patriksson himself with Jonas Svensson and Anna Henning Moberg and was published last year.

If you enjoy whiskey, do not miss Joel's Whisky Bar! Brygghuset has more than 1 450 bottles of whiskey from different distilleries and vintages. The focus is on single malts from Scotland.

Worth mentioning is also that in autumn there will be a guest house / hotel to the business.

Gullmarstrand, Fiskebäckskil

New outdoor pool is now complete. Holds 38 degrees year round and floats on stilts over the sea.

Mother's Day May 29 - Gullmarsstrand serving Mother's Day dinner with salad / herring buffet as a starter. Served between 12-16.

Swedish National Day June 6th - serving lunch with dessert at 12-16. From 18:00 á la carte.

Midsummer at Gullmarsstrand - Traditional midsummer celebrations in Bökevik. Dancing around the maypole and games.

- Midsummer lunch with herring and salad buffet at 12-16, cake buffet at 15-17 and the evening barbecue buffet 18-21

- June 25th and 26th gullmarstrand are serving lunch at 12-16 and á la carte at 18-22

July 14th they are opening Gullmarstrand Thursdays with Music & Grill at 17-20. Entertaining from the band "Helt Ok" and from the grill is served small dishes. (Week 28-32)

July 4th aerobics kicks off the popular sessions on Gullmarstrand jetty. Every day at 10 and 16. Keeps on until August 7.

Pelle's Rökeri, Grundsund

May 27 Opening for Pelle's Rökeri in Grundsund and renamed "Hos Grundén På Pelle´s Rökeri" in that Maggie Grundén family is new restaurant owners starting this summer. After many years as a restaurateur in Sälenfjällen and with strong ties in Grundsund, the Grundéns emphasis this summer on this restaurant with a family atmosphere at the East Quay in Grundsund. Traditional dishes from the sea is interspersed with modern tastes.

They will also take advantage of the fact that many choose to walk on the new promenade right outside the restaurant, and will offer Italian ice cream in the summer. There will also be takeaway baguettes with seafood and more.

Thursdays will focus on entertainment in the bar.

Rågårdsviks Pensionat, Rågårdsvik

Celebrating 90 years this summer and today being run by the fifth generation, owner Lisa Larsson and her family and coworkers are right now sitting down and plan for how to celebrate this anniversary in the best way.

The last Friday of the month, Rågårdsviks Pensionat will host what they call "Before Dinner." Bar open with snack buffet from 17:00 - 19:00. 27/5 and 24/6.

Skaftö Vandrarhem, Grundsund

Lena Hermansson who runs Skaftö Hostel has previously worked extensively to develop hiking and biking maps for Skaftö. Throughout May, those who are staying at the hostel will get free bike access. 

June 4 is the time for "Skaftö Runt" (Ride Around Skaftö) by bike. It is arranged with STF (Swedish Tourist association) and Friluftsfrämjanden. It starts in Grundsund and goes via Åseberget - Berg - Vägeröds dalar to Skaftögården / KFUM where you are having coffee. Then the ride will go on via Östersidan to Fiskebäckskil and Brygghusets where lunch is seerved on the jetty. From there yu bike back to grundsund via Stockevik.
