Valle - a lush landscape with lakes and walking trails

What is the Valle area?

The Valle Area lies at the foot of the western slope of the table mountain Billingen, within the municipalities of Skara and Skövde. Here, the Ice Age has shaped a distinctive landscape – a rolling kame terrain dotted with sparkling lakes, winding hiking trails, and grazing animals. The area is especially popular in May, when thousands of cherry trees burst into bloom – a truly spectacular experience!

When do the cherry trees bloom?

The Valle area is particularly known for its thousands of wild cherry trees that bloom each year. The cherry trees in Valle usually bloom for a couple of weeks in May, although some years it may come early. We’re looking forward to spring 2026!
