Enjoy the restaurant's seafood and its speciality, the “Sillplankan" (herring plate) which has done so much for Salt & Sill’s international reputation. Whether you come alone or as part of a larger group, you’ll be well cared for.
Sleep soundly in modern rooms

Savour Salt & Sill’s dishes close to the sea. Enjoy the fish, seafood and specialities called “Sillplankan” and ”Klädesholmaren”. The restaurant has been given the awards “Worth a trip” and “White’s heart” by the White Guide and has been certified by A Taste of West Sweden. This certification is reserved for restaurants, producers and farm shops which offer sustainable and genuine west Swedish products and fine dining, all based on local seasonal produce.
Unwind in the bath and sauna boat and take in the wonderful view over the sea. There are lobster and seafood gathering trips if you’re interested in actually going out to sea.
