A paradise for nature lovers

The inn, Edsleskogs Wärdshus, is located on the southern side of lake Edslan in Dalsland. From here you have a beautiful view of several nature reserves, green hills and crystal clear waters. Walking, fishing and wildlife photography are just a few of the activities inspired by these scenic surroundings. It really is a paradise for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet.

Relaxing days

You’re almost guaranteed to wake up feeling rested in one of the double rooms or family rooms at Edsleskogs Wärdshus. On a chilly night you can choose your place by the fire in the large lounge. There is a wood-fired wilderness pool and pier that guests have access to.

Adventures in the wild or on the golf course!

You’ll find the inn in the middle of the countryside, where it’s a great starting point for all the sights and activities in the beautiful surroundings of Edsleskog. Go for a long walk in Baljåsen nature reserve or go fishing in one of the hidden lakes in the area. Fishing and walking is not everyone’s cup of tea, but fortunately you can also try whisky tasting or play some rounds at Forsbacka Golf Club. The Dutch specialist in sausages and smoked food, Meneer Wateetons, is on hand for workshops if you’re here with a group of friends.

Good food and self-produced gin

The restaurant is only open to inn guests and serves tasty meals from the mini-à la carte menu. There is also a special menu for the wee ones. The restaurant is well known for its good food, fine porcelain and personal service.

Do you want to try new drinks? Edsleskogs Wärdshus serves its own cider and apple spirit from the brand CalvaDal as well as Edsleskogs Craft Gin - to be enjoyed sensibly!
