Dals Långed

Råvarpen is a lake in Dalsland Canal Lake system and extends from the power station in Dals Långed down to Buterud, which is located in the southern part of the lake. In the north, the flow in the water can be quite tough, especially during spring and autumn. The lake's only outlet is the southern part at Buterud. In the northern part of the lake at Tisselskog there are some farmlands down to the lake, otherwise the most mountains and forests around the lake are. A larger island (Bockön) and about 7-8 smaller islands can be found in the Råvarpen. Mustadfors Bruk owns the bathing area and Vikens Byalag is responsible for the maintenance. 2017 came a new bathing pier which is appreciated by many.
