Dalsland’s magical woods and pretty lakeland offer peace and quiet wonder – perfect for recharging one’s batteries. Lillesjö Stuguthyrning has three scenically sited cottages and a motorhome park with excellent walking, swimming, fishing and canoeing possibilities just around the corner.
Scenic paradise in Bäckefors
Lillesjö Stuguthyrning in Bäckefors is 30 km south of Bengtsfors and open all year round. Owners Annalena and Håkan strive to give you a memorable stay that makes you leave with a plan to return. A break in Dalsland with a view over Lillsjön works wonders for both body and mind!
Live with nature around the corner
You can choose between three fully equipped cottages with a kitchen, living room, toilet, shower and washing machine. There’s a terrace with chairs and a barbecue, free wifi access and access to movie channels, and free parking.
- VILLAN - 10 beds and a floor area of 240 square metres spread over two floors and is available to rent for a minimum of 2 days.
- TOPPSTUGAN - 10 beds and a floor area of 130 square metres and is available to rent for a minimum of 2 days.
- LILLSTUGAN - 4 beds and has a floor area of 30 square metres.
Dogs are also welcome at the holiday cottages but must be kept on a lead whilst in the forest – national rules and restrictions apply.

The restaurant serves locally sourced dishes, and dogs are also welcome to the cottages. In the woods you have to keep your dog on a lead under national regulations.
Motorhome Park
Lillesjö Stuguthyrning offers 8 pitches for motorhomes, which currently have no electricity or water but boast beautiful views of the lake. You can be book your spot online before you arrive.

Scenic activities
The cottages’ natural surroundings are magical, and there are several nice walking or running trails to choose from, between 1.7 and 4.5 km in length. Lake Lillsjön is only a stone’s throw away, and you can fish in the lake and borrow canoes or rowing boats. Locally produced delicacies are served at the large lakeside grill.
Bäckefors has a village inn, a petrol station, an illuminated running trail, and is a bus hub. The nearest city with a range of shopping and restaurant options is only 3 km away.
