DALSLANDSLEDEN

Dalslandsleden - A part of Sverigeleden

For those who like cycling in an exciting environment.

Dalsland is one of Sweden's smallest landscapes with just over 50 000 residents. The landscape is known for the old mills, the grand views and the many waterways. Dalsland is filled with dramatical meetings between north and south, coast and plains and not least between forest and mountains. Dalsland is Sweden's most scenic landscape and the Dalsland channel binds the larger waterways with Lake Vänern. Here you cycle partly in hilly terrain. The trail covers 358 km and is marked with red signs. It connects the Sweden trail. For more information contact Svenska Cykelsällskapet who manages the joint.

A map over Dalslandsleden is available to buy at the tourist center in Färgelanda.
