Hälsans stig ("Health trail") is a 5 kilometer long footpath close to the city center in Mariestad, passing the water, several playgrounds and scenic areas. The trail is suitable for both children and adults.
Go for a 5 kilometer long walk in the city center of Mariestad. Follow the blue signs for "Hälsans stig". A good starting point is the guest harbour. A map over the trail is avaliable at the tourist center. The walk is along bike lanes, walking paths and sidewalks that are plowed in winter.
