Nature experience near the Torsö bridge
By Sundsmarken, on the way out to Torsö, lies Hästhagens nature reserve. The partially overgrown pasture has a significant ridge in the central part.
Deciduos trees are common in the reserve, which was founded 1981 and covers 30 hectars. Thanks to the greenstone in the mountain, the flora is unusually rich with many grove plants such as hepatica, corydalis, coralwort, spring pea and baneberry.
You're welcome to visit Hästhagen but keep in mind that it's not allowed to:
- Destroy or damage natural objects and surfaces
- Bring posters, placards or other disturbances
- Damage the plant life, such as by breaking twigs and picking flowers
- Do anything that can disturb the wildlife, such as close-up photography of nests
- Camp
- Make a fire
- Use a motor vehicle anywhere that isn't the official road
- Park anywhere but the official parking lot
- Bring an unleashed dog
