In Billingetrollet’s Forest, you can play and learn about animals and nature together with Billingetrollet and his friends. A fun and accessible destination for young explorers.
Explore the forest trail around the small lake Åsbotorpssjön – a 1, 5 kilometre paved loop, perfect for strollers and wheelchairs. Along the trail you’ll discover small themed houses, interactive learning stations and a magical forest atmosphere.
Meet Billingetrollet and his friends, like Berit the Squirrel and Pelle the Raven, as you play and learn more about animals, nature and the Swedish outdoors.
At the Forest Playground, kids can jump, balance, and explore among trees and stumps. There’s also a shelter for picnics and a traditional Sámi-style hut.
Peek inside Billingetrollet’s Cave – a cosy spot with a view of the lake. If he’s not home, count the dust trolls hiding under the bed!
Don’t miss the Space Rocket, where little astronauts can press buttons, flip switches and learn about space.
The houses are open daily from 08:00 to 20:00.

When you visit Billingetrollet’s Forest, you can join an app-based adventure. Billingetrollet has lost his magical staff and needs your help to find it! Follow the trail through the forest and look for numbered signs along the way. Use the tool in the app to scan the signs – and listen as Billingetrollet tells you more.

An adventure trail for kids
On Mount Billingen, the Trollstigen trail includes a special loop for young explorers: the Yellow Trail. It’s filled with exciting challenges and playful tasks. If you solve them all, a hidden treasure awaits in the Troll Cave!
Length: Two point six kilometres – follow the yellow signs along Trollstigen.
Good to know: Parts of the trail are steep and not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
