Lobster safari with Everts Sjöbod (Boathouse)

Did you know that almost 50% of all lobsters in Sweden comes from Grebbestad in Bohuslän? The lobster fishing starts on the first Monday after the 20th September and that is when many Grebbestad locals will take their boats out to put the lobster traps in the water. As a private person you are allowed to have 6 traps per person and go fishing until the 30th November, while professional fishermen can have 40 traps and go fishing until the 31st December. From the end of September until somewhere in the middle of November you can join us on the sea and try your luck with lobster fishing.

Lobster safari 850 SEK
A lobster safari starts by meeting up in the boathouse. We will go through safety instructions and put on the safety overalls. Afterwards we will board our boat Tuffa with 2 hours of fishing ahead of us! During the fishing tour you will get the chance to pull up the lobster traps and hopefully see your first lobster catch! You will also get to taste Grebbestads seaweed crisp bread with horseradish cheese, warm coffee and beverages.
Lobster safari with a 1-night stay in Evert’s Sjöbod - 2600 SEK
A lobster safari starts by meeting up in the boathouse. We will go through safety instructions and put on the safety overalls. Afterwards we will board our boat Tuffa with 2 hours of fishing ahead of us! During the fishing tour you will get the chance to pull up the lobster traps and hopefully see your first lobster catch! You will also get to taste Grebbestads seaweed crisp bread with horseradish cheese, warm coffee and beverages.
When the fishing trip is over you will have a few hours to relax. At 6 pm we will meet in Evert’s boathouse to enjoy a lobster supper consisting of a plate of shellfish with half a lobster, shrimps, Norwegian lobsters and mussels.
The shellfish plate can vary depending on the weather. In this package you also get to stay one night in a shared double room in Evert’s boathouse and it also includes breakfast.
Single room add-on: 500 SEK per person.
We have a close collaboration with Grebbestad Fjorden, which is located in central Grebbestad. If we are fully booked we can offer the same package but with an overnight stay with them.

A lobster safari starts by meeting up in the boathouse. We will go through safety instructions and put on the safety overalls. Afterwards we will board our boat Tuffa with 2 hours of fishing ahead of us! During the fishing tour you will get the chance to pull up the lobster traps and hopefully see your first lobster catch! You will also get to taste Grebbestads seaweed crisp bread with horseradish cheese, warm coffee and beverages.

Small oyster tasting in combination with the fishing tour - 295 SEK per person
We will show you how to open the Grebbestad oysters and tell you about them. You will enjoy them together with a local beer called Oysterporter.
