In the middle of Sweden's tourist mecca and among interesting sights and ancient monuments you will find Tanums Parish. We offer a meeting place for Christian faith and community, with the message of life, human dignity and salvation.

The new Tanums Parish was founded in 2018 and covers the entire Tanum municipality with places such as Tanumshede, Fjällbacka, Grebbestad, Kville, Lur, Havstenssund, Hamburgsund, Svenneby, Naverstad, Mo, Resö etc. We are building the church of the future for children, youth, families and elders with church service and activities.

Tanum Parish offers a great variety of activities with several different choirs, 15 churches, multicultural language cafés, youth groups etc. We also have our own healing centre, open all year round, to help those in need of support in the municipality. We also have our own church boat “Ann-Marie”. We offer all of this because, as Christians, we share the belief and the message of life, joy, security, community, human dignity, peace and salvation.

Tanum is located on historical grounds. The residents live side by side with the ocean and the idyllic landscape. Maybe that is why tens of thousands of people visit the parish every summer. You will find the most well-preserved rock carvings in the world, mysterious Viking labyrinths and magnificent unique churches and parish churches.
