Small riding school offering riding camps and trail rides.

Emmas Icelandic Horses is a small riding school that offers trail rides, riding camps, private lessons, and horse training.

Small Riding School with Private Lessons

You can find Emmas Icelandic Horses just outside Kungslena, about 1 mile from Tidaholm and Falköping, and about 2 miles from Skövde. The equestrian facility is run by Emma Örtendahl, who provides lessons for small groups as well as private lessons. All training is done on her well-trained Icelandic horses. If you have the opportunity, you can also ride your own Icelandic horse. Riding takes place both in the arena and out in the forest and countryside, where balance and posture are trained optimally.

Trail Rides

Emmas Icelandic Horses offers trail rides on reliable, tolt-secure, and well-trained Icelandic horses. The trails take you on beautiful routes through roads and forests around Kungslena. Riders who choose trail riding at Emmas Icelandic Horses should be experienced riders. A trail ride can be customized to your preferences, including the option for a break with refreshments.

Riding Camps

Every summer, there are several types of riding camps to choose from, such as day camps, specialty camps, and children's and youth camps. Riding in the arena is combined with trail rides, swimming, and other activities depending on the type of camp.

Horse Training

Emma has over 20 years of experience with Icelandic horses and has been training horses full-time since 1999. She accepts Icelandic horses for various training needs, including starting and further education.
