Hiking in Ronjaland
Åmål
Our hiking trails run in an area where several scenes in the movie Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter were filmed. The area is very hilly and offers nice views of the surroundings.
Five hiking trails
Length: 1.3 km - 38 km
Type of trails: Straight. With The Pilgrim trail they can become round loops
The hiking trails are mostly on dirt roads and easily accessible forrest trails. In the few steep passages that exist, there are stairs and handrails. Three of the trails connects to the Pilgrim trail, which enables new routes and rounds to be created according to one's own liking and taste. Parking spaces are available in several different places, which makes it possible to walk entire trails or take short walks.

Ronjalandsleden
Length: 19 km, with Pilgrimsleden 38 km
Type of trail: Straight. With pilgrim trail - loop
Marking: Red
Hike between Höheden and Högelund. Passes Fengersfors with shop, beach and cultural centre.
Bäverleden
Length: 15 km, with Pilgrim trail 26.5 km
Type of trail: Straight. With Pilgrim trail - loop
Marking: Blue
Hike between Höheden and Järpestolen. Experience the beaver's at Knarrbyån.
Korpens led
Length: 13 km, with Pilgrim trail 21 km
Type of trail: Straight. With Pilgrim trail - loop
Marking: Green
Trail between Högelund and Järpestolen. Visit Korpeknatten with wonderful views.
Bläsenrundan
Length: 3.8 km
Type of trail: Straight
Marking: Yellow
Hike on the mountain Bläsen. Via a serpentine up the mountain with a view out over Lake Ärr.
Korpeknatten
Length: 1.3 km
Type of trail: Straight
Marking: white
Take the detour to the highest point of the mountain with a magical view of the landscape.
About Vandra i Ronjaland Association
The association Hiking i Ronjaland works, in collaboration with Åmåls Kommun, with the Leader project Vandra i Ronjaland. The project develops hiking trails around Fengersfors in Åmåls municipality and is financed by Framtidsbygder Dalsland Årjäng Munkedal - local development, which grants projects that develop the countryside, through the European Fund for Rural Development.
