Traces from the Ice age

At Steneby church is an exciting tracks along traces from the Ice Age. Short but nice and very interessting.

In the beautiful hillside down to the Stone Byälven are many potholes. Some are perfectly round and lapped several meters deep. In addition, there are many semi-circular depressions in the vertical rock faces. The largest is seven meters deep and located right down by the water.

Directions

To Steneby you can arrive by either road 164 from Dals Ed or road 172 from Bäckefors.
