To take the public transport through Sweden can be a bit tricky. Different citys and Regions in Sweden has differens operators. There are also various types of coupons according to each city or Region bus, train or metro/tram system. These are usually bought in kiosks or information centers. Trains usually need to be prepayed - you can not pay onboard. Buses usually take payment - but not cash, only card payment. If you have a Visa or Mastercard debit/credit-card you're safe.
