Café Bonaparte
Upperud
The café is run by the Dalsland's art museum and is located right next to the museum in a building that was previously a hostel, built around 1830. A nice stop with a beautiful view of the lake.
The café has room for 50 guests inside and about 40 guests outside. On the nice glass veranda and from the outdoor terrace, you have a fantastic view of Lake Spången, part of the Dalsland's canal.
Here they use local and organic ingredients as much as possible and bake all their bread themselves. They also have a small shop in the café where they sell tea, honey, postcards, etc.
Opening hours
The café follows the museum's opening hours and is usually open between March and November.
