Discover Dalslands Traktormuseum – Sweden’s premier vintage tractor experience! Nestled in the charming old stables of the Rödjan farm, located just 15 km south of Mellerud, this living museum opened its doors May 2022.
Dalslands Tractor Museum is the result of dedicated work by the non-profit members of Traktorklubben Dotorp. Most of the tractors on display are privately owned by the members, each with its own unique and fascinating story to tell.
Tractors only – nothing else!
Dalslands Tractor Museum is the only museum in Västra Götaland dedicated exclusively to tractors. The collection features fully functional machines from the 1920s and onward. Among the highlights are iconic models like the classic “Grålle” (Ferguson) and the original Swedish Volvo BM, as well as more rare brands such as the German Hanomag and Danish Bukh. All tractors are in working condition and are regularly used during the club’s events and activities.
The museum also includes a small workshop and a cozy café. For younger visitors, there’s a fun play area with pedal tractors and other child-friendly activities.
