Hike through Ramslökedalen and Buterud nature reserve

From the Aqueduct in Håverud, you can hike through beautiful forests scented with ramson over pine- and oak-covered mountain ridges up through Buterud's nature reserve. Here you have a magnificent view of Lake Åklången and the Dalslands canal.

The nature reserve Ramslökedalen is located not far from the Aqueduct in Håverud. You can park your car at Dalsland's center where there is a large parking lot. There is a wonderful flora here with tooth root, ramson onion and thistle. The area also have a lot of woodpeckers. The trail branches off to the Buteruds Nature Reserve and a straight hiking trail north. Buterudsleden is a rather steep and challenging trail.

At Ramslökedalen there is a barbecue area with a nice view over the lake. If you continue along the trail Buterudsleden, you will find a campsite with a barbecue area after about 2 km.
