The area surrounding the village offers fantastic hiking trails in a diverse and varied landscape, with many intriguing cultural sites in and around the community. Several paths wind through the unique nature, providing breathtaking views of the sea while walking on the smooth rock formations.

Hälleviksstrand in Orust, affectionately known as Strana, is first mentioned in written records in 1617 when fishermen settled around the bay with their boats and constructed sheds by the sea.

    Detour to Slätterna: Forest path with obstacles, path over cliffs, and asphalt road.
  5. Stördalen: Moderate. Gravel path, cycle path, and forest path.
