Bohuslän Local Heritage Association

The associations work to preserve, use, and develop our cultural and natural heritage. The activities are diverse, ranging from guided tours and hikes, exhibitions and outings, local heritage days and homecoming events, to theaters and tractor days, vintage car rallies, waffle houses, and much more.

The Bohuslän Local Heritage Association supports member societies by organizing courses, conferences, seminars, etc., on various topics, initiating and managing projects on different themes such as youth and local heritage, green cultural heritage, and more. They arrange activities like themed days, lectures, fairs, etc., and participate in projects, networks, and so forth.

BHF acts as the spokesperson for member societies at the local, regional, and national levels, working to promote cultural heritage societies as destinations, meeting places in local communities, knowledge resources for schools, and contributors to sustainable development, among other things.

The Bohuslän Local Heritage Association is a co-founder of the Bohuslän Museum.
