Bathing spot - Tjörn

Tubbeviken's bathing spot is popular among families with children. Both the beach and the sauna are easily accessible by public transportation, car, bicycle, or on foot.

Facilities
The bathing spot has a small grassy area and sandy beach, cliffs, diving tower, springboard, and a toilet. The toilet is open to the public year-round.

At the bathing spot, there is a sauna available for use by both members and visitors. The sauna is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible toilet nearby. The sauna can be booked through the Tubbeviken Sauna Association.

Accessibility
The beach is partially accessible with two wheelchair-accessible stairways and an accessible toilet. Two accessible deck platforms are also available.

Maintenance
During the summer, the bathing spot is managed by the Tubbeviken Bathing Association and Tjörn Municipality.

Getting here
By car: From Tjörn Bridge, turn left at the traffic lights onto Road 169. Drive approximately 17 km towards Rönnäng. Take the exit to Aröd towards Skärhamn and the Nordic Watercolour Museum. Continue to Skärhamn and follow the road through the village (the sea bay on the left). The bathing spot is located in northern Skärhamn. There are good parking facilities, and accessible parking spaces are available near the bathing spot.
