In 1992, Tjörn Golf Club was opened for play. Located in the middle of the island Tjörn, the golf course is close to coastal communities, attractions, restaurants and ocean swimming spots. It is a friendly club with a team of knowledgeable staff, who work to maintain the high quality of the course.
18-hole course in forest and park setting
Golf rounds at the beautiful course at the heart of Tjörn offers the right challenge for all categories. An 18-hole course, it takes golfers through varied forest and park terrain. The undulating Bohuslän landscape offers exciting and sometimes technically demanding holes. The tactical player is usually rewarded more than hard-hitting counterparts. There are several game options according to the new hectometre system. You can now choose the level of difficulty you feel like on a daily basis, which can make for a faster and more entertaining game! The course usually opens early in the season, as the surrounding water helps to create mild spring weather and lovely greens. The course enjoys beautiful views of farmland, forest and ocean. Don’t forget to stay and enjoy the view when you’ve hit the ball into the 16th hole.
