Kapellstigen at Hökensås is a hike for the body and soul. The trail runs between First Camp Hökensås and Blåhult's Chapel.

Length: The trail is 3 kilometers long.

Approximate time: It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the trail.

Trail markings: Wooden posts with white markings.

Difficulty level: Moderate difficulty, forest path.

Start and finish: Start at First Camp Hökensås and finish at Blåhult's Chapel.

Directions to get here: 

Hökensås is located in western Sweden, near Lake Vättern, approximately 160 km from Gothenburg. If you choose to travel by train, you can take a train to Falköping or Skövde and then a bus from there to Tidaholm. To get to Tidaholm-Hökensås, you can take bus 321, but the trip must be pre-booked by calling 0771-91 90 90 at least one hour before departure.

If you're traveling by car, Hökensås is 14 km from Tidaholm and 48 km from Jönköping.

Along the trail, there are eleven posts, and at some of these, you'll find thoughtful Bible verses. Additionally, there are three benches where you can pause, rest, and admire the beautiful nature, or perhaps enjoy a picnic. The trail starts at First Camp Hökensås and goes to Blåhult's Chapel.

Sights to see

 

During the summer, it can be refreshing to take a dip in Lilla Havssjön. This is a popular bathing lake located in the Hökensås forests, approximately 3 km north of First Camp Hökensås.

The legendary Falk's grave evokes many emotions. It is said that there are always fresh flowers on the grave. Visit the location to check. The grave is located approximately 10 km southeast of First Camp.

If you enjoy photography or simply want to revel in unparalleled nature, Rävafallet is well worth a visit. The waterfall is located approximately 10 km southeast of First Camp. There is parking available at Sågaretorpet, from where you can take a short walk to the enchanting waterfall. If you have a packed meal, there is also a barbecue area available.
