Experience Lake Vänern on board Julia Ingegerd this summer! If you have a driver's license and seafaring experience you have the opportunity to rent weekly with change on Sundays. Julia Ingegerd's home port is Åmål, here you can travel by bike, train or car. We can pick you and your luggage up at the station if you come by train.
If you come by car, there are good parking options and the possibility of charging if you drive an electric car.
When you rent Julia Ingegerd, you can experience Lake Vänern, Dalsland's canal and go to Sweden's innermost port, Arvika. In Lake Vänern there are 22,000 islands and skerries and only 35 minutes drive from Åmåls harbor is Tössebäcken's archipelago with fine natural harbors.

Julia Ingegerd is equipped with a new heater 2020, a new cooling unit for the cooling box 2020, new winches 2020, bathing jetty 2020, septic tank 2020, solar cell 2020, new sails 2021. During the winter 2020/2021, Julia Ingegerd also got a new engine which runs quieter, takes up less space and uses less fuel. When you rent the boat, it is refueled with Neste My HVO Diesel.
In Julia Ingegerd you wash dishes and boil with seawater that comes directly into the tap. If you are in guest harbors, it is recommended not to use the seawater. Drinking water is filled into smaller cans which you then can refill gradually.
Julia Ingegerd is a comfortable motor sailor who sails well. There are five beds on board but the most comfortable is to have four people on board. But it all depends on how used you are to socializing in smaller areas. We have been two children and four adults at most.
The cooling box is spacious and there is plenty of space to stock pantry items. The boat is equipped with the utensils you need during your stay. When renting, we can arrange life jackets if you do not have your own, lifebuoy is on board.
Julia Ingegerd is equipped with GPS and paper charts over parts of Lake Vänern. You need to have knowledge of how to use charts to rent the boat. If you have not previously been to Lake Vänern based on Åmål, we can give tips on where it is good to stay depending on wind direction and weather.
When you rent Julia Ingegerd you can also order food and recipes for your stay. We fill the fridge and pantry with food and drink based on your wishes.
If you also want the opportunity to paddle SUP, stand up paddleboard, when you are in port, it is also possible to rent this.
Requirements for rental:
You must have a driver's license
You should be used to being on the lake and navigating
You must have basic knowledge of sailing
You must have an understanding and knowledge of weather and winds
You must be at least 20 years old
