Lake with small islands and numerous bays.

The lake Fillingsjön offers all environments for sport Pike and perch, and a smaller population of white fish make this lake interesting.

The variation of individual species of fish is great. The lake is mostly surrounded by forest areas. In the lake itself, there are some small islets and numerous shallow bays. A plus is that the lake has a number of larger to and from flows from larger and smaller streams.

  • Area: 238,6 ha
  • Including: Fillingsjön, Årbolsälven, Gottarsbyälven, Håltjärn, Långetjärnet, Rönningtjärn,  Dåverudstjärn, Dåverudsälven, Höljen, Holtaneälven, Väntjärn, Sinsterudstjärnet, Rösetjärn, Slängomtjärn, Orsbytjärn, Abborretjärn and Skiljetjärn with creeks.
  • Fish species: Perch, pike, tench, brax, roach, bleak, eel, lake, slom and trout.
  • Other: General fishing regulations. Fishing is not permitted in the rivers and streams of the fishing conservation area. Minimum size of salmon trout is 30 cm. Fishing for trout is prohibited during September 15th to February 28th.  Children under 16 fish free, but under current rules. Fishing is not permitted in the rivers and streams of the fishing conservation area. The boat ramp is at Sanviken i Fillingsjön.
