Modern hotel in traditional foundry setting

Upperud 9:9 started its life as a granary one hundred years ago, and has now been transformed into a modern, unique hotel. All around the year, the large hall is filled with live music, good food and a welcoming atmosphere. In summer, the café offers home-made food, coffee and cakes in beautiful countryside.

Lovely accommodation

The modern rooms at Upperud 9:9 are well-integrated into the old structure, with solid walls of horizontal planks. You may find an ear or two of wheat between the planks, from the time when the silo trays were filled with grain. The rooms are bright and spacious thanks to the French balconies and high ceilings. The five studios provide snug, compact lodging on two floors, each having four beds, a kitchen and bathroom. There are comfortable armchairs in each room and kitchen furniture too.
