Rångedala
Welcome to Algutstorp (east of Rångedala) and its fantastic hiking trails! At the Road Station in Rångedala, you will find four unique hiking loops that take you on a lovely journey through Algutstorp's fields and meadows, bordered by beautiful stone walls and meandering streams.
Explore nature's treasures along Rångedala Hembygdsförening's various hiking trails:
Nature trail - 3 km: Start at the road station or Rångedala Hembygdsgård and follow the green signs. An almost three kilometre loop takes you through beautiful fields and meadows. Spring flowers such as yellow and blue marigolds bloom with colour along the way.
Bäckravinen- 3 km: Starting at the homestead in Algutstorp, this trail goes through woodland along a small stream ravine. In the spring, you can enjoy a sea of white sippers along this beautiful trail.
Hallonstigen - 3.5 km: The red sign marks the start of this loop. On this 3.5 kilometre journey, you will experience historic country roads between Rångedala and Varnum, surrounded by spruce and deciduous forests. There is a beautiful stream gorge and barbecue area at the homestead.
Grytefotstigen - 5.0 km: Follow the yellow signs for a five kilometre walk through Rångedala and Varnum's parishes. The trail offers varied terrain and takes you through forest roads and paths. Enjoy a barbecue near the homestead in Algutstorp along the way.
Banvallsrundan - 5.5 km: Banvallsrundan starts at the old country road between Rångedala and Varnum and stretches along the old railway embankment.
Bamsestigen - 9,0 km: For the more adventurous! Blue signs show the way on this almost nine kilometre long trail. Discover the former country roads between Rångedala and Varnum, surrounded by beautiful spruce and deciduous forest. Take a pause at the barbecue area at the homestead in Algutstorp for a well-deserved break.
Parking is available at Rångedala Vägstation/Westerngaraget or Rångedala homestead. The bus stops near Gamla Ulricehamnsvägen, a little over 500 metres from the start of the journey. Explore Algutstorp and Rångedala's treasures through these exciting hiking trails!
