In the summer months, you can rent pedal boats and kayaks from Verano Marina and take a lovely trip on the lake. For the fishing enthusiast, there are several good places to fish, in Öresjö there is the opportunity to catch, among other things, perch, pike and zander.
Next to Almenäs is the scenic Rya åsar nature reserve with its ancient forest and grazing meadows. Simply park at Almenäs and take a short walk of about 200 metres to the path. The nearest bus stop, Almenäsvägen, is only 250 metres away.
