Around beautiful Sjömarken you will find numerous hiking trails of varying length and degree of difficulty. Walk along the bathing area, start from the sports field or challenge yourself with the longer Sjömarkenrundan of 14 km. Discover forest paths in spruce forests and open glades that reflect the history of the Alelund and Sjöbergsttorpet farms.

Sjömarkens bathing area 0.75 km: An illuminated, but unmarked walking loop that starts from the car park at Sjömarkens bathing area and continues through lush deciduous forest.
Sjömarken sports field 2.5 km: This illuminated trail runs through fir trees on a gravel surface where you can switch on the lights yourself between 16.00-21.00.
Sjömarken sports field 4.2 km: This trail, which is marked with yellow/white signs, takes you through a hilly spruce forest and along open glades where you can see remnants of the fields that once belonged to Alelund and Sjöbergstorpet.
Sjömarken sports field 5 km: If you follow the yellow-marked trail, it will take you through spruce forest and in several places the forest becomes magically like an enchanted forest with slopes and smaller mountain slopes.
Sjömarkenrundan 14 km: Marked with black/white signs is the Sjömarkenrundan, a slightly more challenging round in both length and terrain that hooks onto the Hestraskogsleden during a stretch towards Ekås and Ebbared.
Parking is easy at Sjömarkens sports ground and the nearest bus stop is at Gamla Göteborgsvägen, just a few hundred metres away.
