Fika

At Tofta Mansion Magasinet they love to ”fika”. They take pride in baking their own cookies and cakes. They serve classic Swedish cakes, such as Lillemors tosca tårta, tea cookies, carrot cake with frosting and more. Waffles with home made jam and ice cream. They also serve light dishes like soup of the day and chili made from the animals at their own farm. They make sandwiches with bread from the local artisan bakery and offer hotdogs and pancakes for kids.

They also serve lactose and gluten free options.

To Do

There is a lot of events at Magasinet during summer. You can see the program at Facebook. Every year there is a play showing at the second floor of the Magasinet. A theater bar serves beer and wine, snacks, fika and sandwiches during the events.

During three weekends in December, they host an amazing traditional Christmas Market. This has been done for almost 30 years. This is high qualty in every sence and they offer everything you expect and more. Both great handicraft, local food, christmas candy but also activities for the kids and a variety of performances.

For the kids

Magasinet has a lovely big garden with a playground as well as a kids corner inside. Children are also welcome to visit all the animals at the farm and say hi to sheep, cows, rabbits, dogs and cats. There is an excellent beach suitable for children in the nearby, about 500 meters from Magasinet.

The Farm

Tofta herrgård is quite a destination with all it has to offer. The main building was built in the beginning of 18th century and all the buildings on the premises are protected by the state. The farm, with sheeps and cows, is organically certified by KRAV. In the main building, there is a hotel with a high end restaurant, and you can also take a ride on Islandic horses or practice golf at the golf course. Tofta Mansion is surrounded by the nearby ocean and Tofta´s Natures Reserve with great hiking trails and bathing spots on the cliffs at Hjelms peak out on the reserve. Feel free to explore.
