Priest's Old Road

Priest's OldRoad is a 2.5 kilometer culture road between Gårdö in Gällstad and Södra Säm. Alongside the road you will find 28 interesting cultural memories. Use the brochure to follow the stories from the past.
This road is the oldest known in this area, prabably from the 14th century. Originally this was the way the local priest used between the villages churches.
The road is well preserved and signs with information (in Swedish) are alongside the walk.

Start the walk in Gällstad or Södra Säm. In Gällstad there is parking available.
How to get here:
Public transport: There are buses with Västrtrafik going from Ulricehamn to Gällstad. Check the time table and the departure times beforehand! There are frequent connections with public transport to Ulricehamn from both Jönköping and Borås.
