Find your way to Högaliden Outdoor Recreation Area on foot, by bike, by car, or even by bus!
DIRECTIONS FROM HJO
ON FOOT OR BY BIKE
There is a paved cycle path all the way from Hjo to Högaliden. Only the last approx. 500 metres is on a gravel road that is also used by cars. Follow Falköpingsvägen west out of Hjo. At the roundabout where you meet road 195, take the second exit and continue on Hjovägen for about 3.5 km. You’ll see a sign for Högaliden — at that point the cycle path ends, and you turn left for the final stretch up to Högaliden.
BY CAR
From Hjo, follow Falköpingsvägen west. At the roundabout with road 195, take the second exit and continue on Hjovägen for about 3.5 km. Look for the sign for Högaliden, turn left and continue approx. 500 metres on the gravel road until you reach Högaliden Outdoor Recreation Area, with parking directly on the right.
BY BUS
Västtrafik bus 435 between Hjo and Blikstorp stops at Kullebäcken, about 500 metres from Högaliden. You can plan your journey using Västtrafik’s journey planner, which you find here >>
PARKING
Parking is available immediately to the right when you arrive at Högaliden Outdoor Recreation Area.
