BARBECUE SPOTS

SHELTERS AT HÖGALIDEN
There are three shelters located close to the Högaliden recreation area.
HÖGALIDEN OUTDOOR RECREATION AREA
Right next to the Friluftsfrämjandet lodge at Högaliden you’ll find a shelter. Here there are fire pits and benches with tables. Bring your own firewood
HEDSMOSSEN
This shelter is the closest to the main Högaliden recreation area. The easiest way is to follow the Västra Vätterleden south; after about 1.5 km the trail passes Hedsmossen. There is also a public gravel road that takes you almost all the way by car. Here there is a fire pit (bring your own wood), a water pump (water quality unknown), and a basic toilet about 100 m from the shelter
TASSARP
The shelter at Tassarp lies near the one at Hedsmossen, but is not directly on a marked trail or exercise path. Here you’ll find a fire pit (bring your own firewood).
