At Turbinen, the focus is on craftsmanship and quality. Baking begins early in the morning, and the scent of freshly baked pastries quickly permeates the air. Turbinen bakes from scratch and uses genuine ingredients, often sourced locally and ecologically.
Everything at Turbinen is baked in the stone oven, which is the heart of the bakery.
They offer sourdough bread, cakes, buns, cookies, pastries, sandwich cakes, and more, as well as lighter lunches such as salads and pies. On weekends, they occasionally host brunches and coffee buffets. Turbinen also accepts orders and group bookings. Turbinen's beautiful and unique brick building dates back to the 1930s, and here, you can enjoy delicious food and pastries. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors, including a large dining area right by the river.
The Coffee Cottage "Kaffestugan" on Turbinhusön
Turbinen is open year-round, and during the summer, they also run Kaffestugan on Turbinhusön. When you visit Kaffestugan, you can savor your coffee and pastries in a well-preserved blacksmith cottage from the 1800s, furnished in a period-appropriate style. If you prefer outdoor seating, you'll find a spacious, lovely outdoor terrace surrounded by lush greenery next to the babbling water.
Kaffestugan offers a wide range of ice cream, as well as waffles, buns, cookies, and coffee.
