Main Stage at Sanden in Vänersborg

During the National Day celebration at Sanden, Tobbe the Magician invites you on a magical and wildly fun journey filled with magic, laughter, illusions, music, and maybe even a little dancing. The show is tailored for a family audience, where adults laugh just as much as the kids. Free admission!

Schedule:

• 2:30 PM – Face painting and distribution of flags
• 3:30 PM – Anneli Guilotte, 1st Vice Chairperson of the Municipal Council, welcomes everyone. The City Band performs.
• 3:40 PM – National Day speech by Member of Parliament Jonathan Svensson
• 3:50 PM – Ceremony for new Swedish citizens
• 4:00 PM – Vänersborgs Söners Gille – awarding of the “Sjung Sjung” scholarship
• 4:05 PM – Performance by the “Sjung Sjung” scholarship recipient
• 4:09 PM – The “Sjung Sjung” recipient leads us in singing the national anthem, and we all join in
• 4:15 PM – Tobbe the Magician – "A new show… again!"
• 5:00 PM – Celebration concludes

The event will be interpreted in sign language.

From 1:00 PM – National Day cake served at VSS - Bryggan/Aqua Gott.

National Day Celebration in Frändefors

Everyone is welcome at Frändefors Parish Hall at 12:00 PM.

Program:

• Church choir singing
• Speech
• Marching band performance

• National Day speech by Anna Johansson – Nuntorp Farm
• Awarding of this year’s cultural prize in the Brålanda area by Lions Club Brålanda
• Coffee served by Dalsland’s Lottakår
• Closing: National anthem
