Rude Kulle viewpoint

A view that is familiar to many. From the top of the hill you can see all the way to Marbäck on a clear day.
It was on this lake a battle took place on the 19th January 1520 between the Danes under the leadership of Otto Krumpen and the Swedes led by Sten Sture the younger.
At Rude Kulle the Danes had taken up their position and set up camp. Sten Sture and his men attacked, but he was so badly wounded that he had to be removed from the fighting and the battle was lost.
