Lysetjärn trail

Lysetjärn hiking trail is approximately 5 kilometers long and starts from the hostel at Gammelgården in Bengtsfors. Lean-to shelter at lake Lysetjärn.
Lysetjärn is beautifully located east of Bengtsfors between the lakes Lelången and Svärdlången. Lysetjärn's hiking trail is approximately 5 kilometers long and starts from the hostel at Gammelgården on Majberget, which is known for its cultural and historical environments, here you will also find Halmens Hus (straw museum) and the outdoor museum.
The hike is is a great walk with kids.
Old coal mile
At Lysetjärn, they used to regularly light a coal mile and burn tar. In connection with the coaling, the site was tidied up and it is today a very popular destination for hikers.
There are shelters for overnight stays, benches and barbecue areas at Lysetjärn. Leave the windshield in the condition in which you wish to find it.
Fishing in the area
The Lysetjärn Fishing area is located two kilometers north of Bengtsfors. There is a sign at the road 172 indicating the road. Don´t forget to buy a fishing licence.
