General information
The West Sweden Tourism Board Digital Image and Media Bank ("the Image Bank") is made available and managed by the West Sweden Tourism Board, corp. ID 556459-4538, Vasagatan 45, 400 15 Gothenburg, Sweden ("West Sweden Tourism Board"). The terms "we", "our" and "us" used below refer to the West Sweden Tourism Board.

The West Sweden Tourism Board was set up in 1999 and is a publically funded, non profit company. It is owned by the Västra Götaland Region, and it aims to provide information about the visitor industry in the Västra Götaland region, to encourage the development of west Sweden destinations and visitor industry, and thereby to increase competitiveness among the tourism operators in the region. This work is often carried out in cooperation with both national and international partners. The Image Bank is new and our intention is to update it continuously.

We reserve the right to amend the Terms of Use for the Image Bank ("the Terms of Use") at will. Any changes to the Terms of Use will be announced on our website, www.westsweden.com.

Please note that some of the images in the Image Bank may be subjected to additional conditions which take precedence over the Terms of Use. If this is the case, this will be clearly shown by the following marking ["Reservations"] next to the image concerned.

Press and Travel Operators
The condition for being granted access to the Image Bank is that you as a User (individual, administrator, organisation or company intending to use an image from the Image Bank) from the Press or a Travel Operator, agree to our Terms of Use. You must also be allocated login details for the Image Bank.
We reserve the right to refuse to provide any person with login details for the Image Bank.

Your agreement to the Terms of Use and how to use images from the Image Bank
To agree to our Terms of Use, which means that you agree that;

images from the Image Bank must only be used to inform about and/or promote the destinations Bohuslän, Dalsland and Västergötland in West Sweden, or tourism products in these areas, i.e. not for general marketing of Sweden as a destination,
images from the Image Bank may not be used for personal or commercial purposes (commercial purposes include for example advertising for external companies, individual products or services such as advertising supplements),
images from the Image Bank must always be used in such a way that it is clear that they illustrate the destination West Sweden or parts thereof,
images must be downloaded from the Image Bank again each time an individual image is to be used (the reason for this is that the conditions and/or restrictions for the use of the image in question may have been changed since the last time it was downloaded),
the name of the photographer/copyright holder of an image must always be included in a way which is generally accepted in the trade and media channel concerned (the first and last name of the photographer/copyright holder must always be stated together with /vastsverige.com – for more information about credits, please see “Credits” section below),
no images from the Image Bank may be in any way transferred to any third party.

By applying for and being allocated login details for the Image Bank on our website, www.vastsverige.se, and logging in to the Image Bank you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms of Use.

The Image Bank and the images it contains may be used free of charge to inform about and promote the destinations Bohuslän, Dalsland and Västergötland in West Sweden by representatives of the Press who have been given login details for editorial purposes, unless otherwise stated next to an individual image.

Travel operators that have been provided with login details may use the Image Bank free of charge to inform about and market the destinations Bohuslän, Dalsland and Västergötland in West Sweden.

Press and Travel Operators may use images from the Image Bank in social media like Twitter and Facebook, provided that West Sweden is properly credited for copyright.

Images in the Image Bank may not be used in any context which is incompatible with Swedish or international law, or which may be perceived as offensive, misleading or unlawful. Images from the Image Bank must also not be used in any context which is derogatory to the copyright holder or to persons depicted in the images.

Should we make significant changes to the Terms of Use, you have the right to cancel your agreement with us, which was entered into as a result of agreeing to the Terms of Use and being allocated login details by us.

Credits
The name of the copyright holder must always be stated together with /vastsverige.com when images from the Image Bank are used. The credits must be positioned as close to the image as possible and in a way which is generally accepted in the trade and media channel concerned. The credit must contain at least the first and last name of the copyright holder and a reference to vastsverige.com in the following format:
First name Surname/vastsverige.com

Responsibilities
We will do our best to ensure that the Image Bank always works well. However, we are not responsible for any technical faults which may limit your ability to use the Image Bank or to any data lost due to such faults or other technical problems relating to the Image Bank. We are also not responsible for incorrect image information.

You are personally responsible for the access to and use of any images you have downloaded from the Image Bank. In connection with updates and service work being done to the Image Bank we reserve the right to close some or all functions of the Image Bank without prior notice.

You are responsible for ensuring that your login details are not disclosed to anyone else, and that they don’t fall into the wrong hands. You are also responsible for the way you use the images from the Image Bank and must keep us indemnified against any claims from the copyright holder of an image, or from persons depicted in an image, resulting from it being used in a way which is in breach of these Terms of Use. Should you not credit the copyright holder in the manner set out in the Terms of Use, you may be liable to pay compensation for any damage this has caused us and/or the copyright holder.

Rights
All images and other materials in the Image Bank, including graphics, photos, films, code, HTML, and JavaScript are protected by the Swedish Copyright Law (SFS 1960:729). Copying, reproduction, transfer, sale, assignation or any other form of use of images and/or materials in the Image Bank which is in breach of these Terms of Use are forbidden without given permission from us.

We reserve the right to revoke your permission to use the Image Bank or individual images in the Image Bank and may remove your access to the Image Bank without warning.

Should you breach these Terms of Use, we reserve the right to demand that you delete all the images you have previously downloaded from the Image Bank from your computer, or from any other communication device you use, and that you as far as possible remove the images from the contexts in which they are exposed.

Use of personal data
As a result of you being issued with login details and using the Image Bank, we will handle your personal data. Our main purpose when using your personal data is to fulfil our commitments to you as a user of the Image Bank.

Our ambition is to provide information to all users of the Image Bank. We will therefore use your personal data to ensure that you receive relevant information, offers and interesting services from us or our partners. Where information is provided by one of our partners, your personal data may also be handled by this partner.

The personal data we use will be limited to what you directly or indirectly provide us with when you apply for login details for the Image Bank. We will only use your personal data during the period when you use the Image Bank, until you cancel your agreement with us.

By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you agree to the West Sweden Tourism Board using your personal data as described above. You have the annual right to request information about the personal data we hold about you and how this is used. Such request is free of charge and should be made in writing to the above address. You are also entitled to a written request, that erroneous personal data is corrected and to revoke any consents given.

Bengtsfors
