77 hours of adventure

Day 1: Downhill thrills and slopeside dining

Day 1: Downhill thrills and slopeside dining

We kick off the adventure in Ulricehamn at full speed. At Skibikehike, skis are swapped for mountain bikes during the snow-free season. Throwing yourself down the slopes on a downhill bike provides an adrenaline rush that is hard to beat. Once your muscles start to ache and the helmet comes off, a well-deserved dinner awaits at Restaurang Dalstugan. The restaurant is located right by the slopes, allowing you to enjoy your meal while overlooking the day’s challenges.

After an active day, check into Hotell Lassalyckan for maximum comfort, or choose Prångens Camping by Lake Åsunden for an evening closer to nature.

Day 2: Cave exploration and heights

The morning offers plenty of variety, including wakeboarding and disc golf in the Lassalyckan outdoor area. It’s a perfect way to warm up the body before moving on. After a nice lunch in central Ulricehamn, head towards Töllsjö for a completely different kind of adventure.

At the Töllsjö Caves (Töllsjögrottorna), you can explore nature’s own underground tunnels. There are passages for both experienced climbers and those who just want to experience the thrill of being underground. Before the next challenge, we recommend a stop for 'fika' at Brobackens vedugnsbageri. Their stone-oven-baked treats provide the energy needed for the afternoon, which can be spent either with more downhill cycling at Bollekollen or challenging climbing at Buaskogen.

For the night, we head south towards Kalv. Here, you can choose between the charming Kalvs Skolhus (The Old Schoolhouse) or Kalvs Familjecamping, both of which serve as excellent bases for tomorrow’s wilderness adventures.

Day 3: Wilderness life in the Fegen area

The final day is dedicated to the magnificent Fegen area. Here, nature sets the terms. Rent a canoe and paddle out onto the glassy water, try your luck at fishing, or hike along the pristine shores. It is a place that allows your pulse to settle after a high-speed weekend, while the sense of adventure remains ever-present. Gliding across the lake is the ultimate way to conclude 77 hours of adventure in Sjuhärad.
