Tickets for Västtrafik’s buses and trains can be purchased using a travel card, available at various retailers such as Pressbyrån and Coop Konsum in Strömstad, and Pressbyrån at Gothenburg Central Station.
Tickets are activated once you board the train or bus, and the onboard staff will gladly assist if you need help.

Estimated travel time: approx. 3 hours and 30 minutes
Take the Flygbussarna airport coach to Nils Ericsson Terminalen (Gothenburg Central Station). From there, continue your journey to Strömstad by train or bus.

By Bus (FlixBus)
FlixBus operates between Strömstad and Oslo, with a stop at Blomsholmsmotet (Exit 112 on the E6) - located around 5 kilometers outside of Strömstad.
By Bus & Train (Västtrafik & VY)
You can also travel between Oslo and Strömstad via bus line 111 (Västtrafik) to/from Halden, Norway. From Halden, continue your journey by VY train to/from Oslo.
Total travel time: approximately 2 to 3.5 hours, depending on connection times.
