The Coastal Path through Bohuslän, Østfold and Akershus
Strömstad

A coastal hiking trail

Trails are marked blue, both on the map and on site. Along or near a path, there are spots/trail points, which have been specially adapted for those with functional impairments or, say, buggies. This guide offers a mass of advice on getting out and about and things you can discover around Bohuslän, Østfold and Akershus. Here you can hike, stroll, or just visit, really great places, regardless of your interests or outdoor habits. Find your own secret spot!

The Bohuslän Coastal Path can either be done as a continuous walk or as separate round walks in Uddevalla, Stenungsund, Tjörn, Orust, Lysekil, Sotenäs, Tanum and Strömstad. The Coastal Path and the Bohusleden Trail join up with each other in several places. Together they make up a unique system of walking trails which link the beautiful contrasting coastal and inland landscapes in Bohuslän.

In Strömstad municipality extends the path from Svinesund north to Vassbotten through Krokstrand at Idefjord in the south. Occasionally connecting trail to Bohusleden. In the north continues Coastal path to Halden, Norway, and in the south the trail further into Tanum municipality.
