Munkkyrkan (The "Monk’s Church") is beside the sea just north of Yttre Kuseröd, Grebbestad.

Munkkyrkan (The "Monk’s Church") is beside the sea just north of Yttre Kuseröd, Grebbestad. It is a natural stone formation from the Ice Age. The cave is tunnel-formed and is 11-12 metres deep. On the beach there is a large stone block called the "Altar-Stone".

Directions

From E6: Road 163 to Grebbestad. Turn right at the church towards Havstenssund and turn left towards Grönemad. Drive to the diving centre and climb over the rock and than down to the waters edge. Take care on the second, bigger, rock at the waters edge.
