Shop, eat and socialize in the city center
Trollhättan offers a wealth of wonderful experiences for everyone looking for a good time shopping and eating out with friends and family. Here you will find a wide range of stores offering interior decorating, clothing, electronics, jewellery, books and much more. If you get hungry then there are also several restaurants and cafés along the main pedestrian street but also in the smaller streets and along the canal. On the main pedestrian street Kungsgatan you will also find the Oden Shopping Center.
Markets
On Wednesdays every month, if not a holiday, the traditional city market is held in central Trollhättan on the main square Drottningtorget and along Kungsgatan between 10 am and 4 pm. The annual Autumn Market is held in the second weekend of October and on the second weekend in December it is the popular Christmas Market on Storgatan.
Opening hours
Normal opening hours for stores in central Trollhättan are Weekdays 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm. Oden Shopping Center is open Weekdays 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm.
