Walk, run or bike around Åsunden

Move For Life

On August 26, 2018 walk, run or bike around Åsunden or Vegby to raise money for cancer research. The entry fee goes to the Cancer Society and the Lions Cancer Fund West.

Sarah Kristoffersen, Ida and Karin Friberg Friberg all three have had loved ones who passed away due to cancer. Around Åsunden - Move For Life was started in honor of the relatives who have passed away, to bring people together and raising money to contribute to cancer research.

The idea for this program came from the event Shine in the UK where participants gather and walk around large cities at night to remember those who have passed away from cancer or support those currently battling cancer and contribute financially to the research.
