History

Nittorp church was built in 1874, replacing the previous church from the Middle Ages. The church is in the neoclassical style and was designed by the architect G. Ståhl. 

A major renovation was carried out in 1931, including new flooring, interior painting, and exterior facade plastering. A sacristy was built in the 1950s, and in the 60's they carried out minor renovations to create more space, and also painted over the drapery painting above the pulpit.
