Spend the night in a cottage "from Bullerbyn”

The village of Ljungsarp is in Tranemo municipality, about one and a half hours’ drive east of Gothenburg next to Småland. It is beautifully situated between a lake and the forest, and silence is your companion there.

The Erikson family run a farm in Lindås, where they have a cottage dating back to 1790, carefully renovated in 2004. The cottage has a large living room, a bedroom, a small kitchen and a modern bathroom. It has been sympathetically renovated to keep its original character and several guests have described the experience as "like visiting a small part of Astrid Lindgren’s Bullerbyn".

Outdoor activities

The forest and lake are part of the peace and quiet around the cottage, which is within easy driving distance to the Isaberg recreation area and Tranemo, the nearest town. The lovely surroundings offer great opportunities for swimming, walking, cycling, fishing, trekking – or relaxing moments of invigorating "forest bathing". Skiing areas are only 15-35 minutes’ drive from the cottage, and if you enjoy beach life it’s only 500 metres away.

Yoga classes and wood-fired pizzas

There are a number of activities and events that can be booked at Erikson Cottage, including creative craft courses, training and yoga classes with the option of a hot tub afterwards, and baking pizzas in a wood-fired oven. Meals provided are based on organic and local produce as much as possible. The greenhouse has a table and seats, making a warm and sheltered place to enjoy views of the beautiful countryside.
