More things to do in the area

The towns of Svenljunga and Tranemo are both located within about 20 minutes from the lake. Both towns have a range of restaurants and cafes. In Svenljunga, there is also the Skene Järn store, where you can buy more fishing gear, if you’re missing anything.

Länghem also has a few things to offer. If you’re interested in local history, there’s Torpa Stenhus, for example, with guided tours. You can also buy some little bits and pieces at Saluhallen. If you get hungry at lunchtime or fancy a coffee break, you can head to Torpa cafe or travel a couple of km to Hofsnäs herrgård. Over there, you’ll also find a lot of beautiful natural trails for people who love to hike.
