Fishing in Malensjöarna
Lalabo and Tranemo
Welcome to the fishery conservation area for the Malensjö lakes. Common fish species found here are mainly pike, perch, zander, bream, and eel, but roach, whitefish and vendace can also appear in the fishing environment.
The fishery conservation area covers Lille Malen, Stormalen, and Mörkemalen.

There are lots of barbecue spots and bathing areas around the Malensjö lakes, and you can rent cabins too if you feel like staying over.

National Highway 27 from Borås towards Växjö, after about 35 km (between Tranemo and Gislaved) take the road towards Ambjörnarp at Agnabo or from Ambjörnarp towards Mossebo, then right towards Lalabo. There’s a drivable road down to the water.
